Basuki to Reshuffle Tens of Officials This Friday

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok), is about to reshuffle his echelon IV to echelon II officials on Friday (9/4).

"There are 90 officials or more will get new position on Friday," Basuki said, Wednesday (9/2).

At this moment, the official’s placement is still under city's ranking and post supervisory board (Baperjakat) consideration. There is official will replace Haris Pindratno as Head Dept. of Industry and Energy who was resign.

"I cannot explain the result, it still in process," he added.

Several officials who will get new position are taken from opened selection and promotion. 30 officials have passed the selection, and seven of them have been placed as echelon II officials.

"I must reshuffle the official because of empty position, slow working, and resign official," he disclosed.
